Ok, so I just ordered a Moresca Max bodice. I need to know, how does it look on curvier shapes??? I'm really not in the mood to be running around looking like an oddly shaped stuffed sausage if you know what I mean...

I just bought a Moresca Max 2 last weekend at Scarby. I'm about 5'4" on a tall day and am very, very curvy--especially up top, if you know what I mean. I have the double distinction with being fairly short-waisted as well. This all translates into most bodicies not fitting quite right in the shoulders--they tend to be way too long--because I have to get a large or extra-large to accomodate "other things."
The bodice is a miracle--it makes me look leaner , with a longer line and it's extremely comfortable. The shoulders are adjustable--I don't have the problem with length anymore.
The way they showed me it worked was to adjust all of the top/shoulder and side ties, and then the fairly extensive lacing at the back. From then on you don't retie (unless you need to make an adjustment) anything and you get in and out by lacing and unlacing the back.
If you are attending a faire where Moresca has a shop the fine ladies there will be gracious to help if you need further instructions or fittings.

I bought my Moresca Max a couple of weekends ago, and I LOVE it. As Sarita said, it's definitely a leaner look. All Moresca's that I've tried are funny in the shoulders, I'm not sure if it's my shoulders are narrow (which I doubt, because nothing else on me is narrow), or if they just choose to set them as far out as possible, but with both my Max and my Pirate, I have the backs of the shoulders laced to the top hole in the center of the back because otherwise I would be constantly trying to put them back up where they belong.
