The ruff as a food dispenser...who knew?
It looks like the ruffs were loosened considerably to accommodate the 'candy dispenser' effect.
I though it cute that the first actress appears to have a pocket concealed in her sleeve, unless she was faking it.
I think she really does though; the gesture was too natural: Get up, stuff the bag of candy somewhere inside the lining on her hanging sleeve on the way to the set.
I love it! Is it some a port of a broader renaissance campaign or this was just a one time thing?
