Title: how to become cast??
Post by: Auryn on July 14, 2009, 01:15:19 PM
So after 5 years of being a playtron I am considering the idea of auditioning for the cast.
Would anyone be willing to explain the process, what it takes, what its like, the ins and outs of being on cast??
Are there specific skills required??
any help would be greatly appreciated.

That's awesome Auryn. :) Always seemed like such a fun cast to play with. Good luck!

I can't give you specifics, but hopefully someone from FLARF will read your post and answer more fully. In the meantime here's a casting call from last season. Looks like it was posted in September, with auditions in November.

Auryn,

We're happy to hear you're interested in becoming a cast member!  Auditions are typically held late in the year (around November/December), and we require that you prepare a one- to two-minute Shakespearian or contemporary comedy monologue, as well as a broadway/standard a cappella song, should you desire to be cast in a singing role.

Hope that helps!
