Wouldn't miss it for the world! When does the voting begin for the weekend in question?
That is all up to the people that are planning it!
The most logical weekend would be labor day weekend as that is when we get our biggest RF invasion. We had 70-80 last year and it looks like we are going to shatter that number this year. We may have 70 with just the M'cracks that are showing up. Plus there is the extra day off for people who need to travel.
Congratulations Maryland.
Remember there are some who can't have a three day weekend on a holiday weekend due to work restrictions.
And the other question would be what weekend is Albannach going to be there?
or Mediaeval Baebes? Aerial Angels? or Hack and Slash?
I know it's over a year in advance so you don't know.

Thank you everyone! We look forward to hosting all whom want and will come in 2009! The weekend does not matter for every weekend at MDRF is a great weekend indeed! If I were to have my preference it would be Labor day for that is the longest weekend at MDRF and the weekend we always have our invasion ... that said, let the voting begin! Regardless of your choice of weekends ... MDRF and its crew will delight in hosting such fine faire folk! Well met all!

Thanks for the drink, and yes there is Guinness here ... I sniffed it out shortly after I arrived ;D
That said there is no Guinness as good as my Lady Guinness! ;)

I'm already planning on coming. Had so much fun at TNRF, can't wait to do it again.

Okay Lady M now you've got me hungry for a brownie now myself.I am a huge chocoholic and can put a hurting on a pan of brownies when put in front of me............As for TNRF i had no idea that yall were at that faire until after i got back home to VA.I was there on memorial day weekend Saturday and Sunday.Next time i will have to come say hello if yall will be there again in 2009.
There will be some kind of group at TN. Won't be as large a group. But we'll still have fun.
Well I know I for one had a blast when i was there.Yalls people are so nice and alot of fun to work with.I'm just hoping now that you guys at TNRF will have me back next year.Yalls nobles are alot of fun to work with coming from a veteran noble myself.

Same here, prob is...theres this shin-dig for my brother going on that exact weekend in 09' at the Air Force Academy. And he'll be a Senior so...I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to do.
I do have a question for you....what's the closest/easiest airport to fly into? And who all is willing to come and get me from said airport? (If I actually make it out to MDRF next year then it'll be the first RenDezvous that I'll be at since it was held in TX. :o )

The nearest airport is BWI.
The voting for 2009 dates is complete .... it will be Labor Day weekend. Keep an eye out for a new thread discussing the ramp up. Thanks to all contributors.

How far is the faire from Chevy Chase, MD? I have family there, and thus, potential free lodging if it's not too far away.
