LOL! Gotta come see it: you'll recognize the tunes, though the words are all strangely twisted. Written Buy the artistic director, and formerly performed in other venues.... mostly new cast, less than 25 minutes, roll on the floor laughing if you know the story at all.
Come and see me sing as one of the "Boogie Woogie Witches who know what's gonna be"!
ohh
it sounds great
thanks for the heads up
I will make sure to stop by.
Stangely twisted is right up my ally! :D I'll look for it.
Queen Maggie, I caught the show today! OMG I laughed so hard I was literally crying. Really ,really ,well done!! I wanted to say hey after the show but you all took your curtain calls and made an exit. We've never met. Which witch are you?
Thanks: We're exhausted at that point: it's very high energy! and honestly, need a bit of time to change back to street garb.
I was "Pattie" the Witch on stage right (that would be the Audience's left side) My witch costume is a bit more modern looking (mostly because I'm in full nobles the rest of the time and I didn't have time for two new costumes!)
::)I'll slow down in the future a bit, so that People can say hello!
PS I just found out there's a fabulous spread of my 'home show' of MDRF in this issue of Renaissance Magazine, with a picture of me as Mother Lowe from Anne of Cleve's retinue, in the "dramatic show" photo!
Wonderful, hilarious show! It is so good to see some fresh entertainment, and especially when it is so well done and funny.
