Title: Tulsa Scottish Festival
Post by: Craigmeister on August 11, 2008, 11:04:59 AM
The 29th Annual Tulsa Scottish Festival begins on Friday, September 12th and runs all weekend.  Admission is only $3.  It will be held at the River West Festival Park at 21st & Jackson.

The main attraction will be bagpipe competitions.  There are always great pipe bands to be heard.  Highland games will be going on almost constantly.  Concerts will be held by 'Wicked Tinkers', 'Needfire' & 'Celtic Cheer'.  Great buys can be had on swords & other weapons.  I'm amazed at how cheap they are compared to Renaissance festivals.

Bring your dog & your need for a fun time.  Last year, I was able to pet the second Irish Setter I'd seen since I had my last one, four years ago.  Huzzah!
