RULES:
Please post the responses to the questionnaire here on the forum (and if you can think of anything else that would be helpful, please do add it!  We can never know TOO much...well, wait, I suppose we actually could...but you know what I mean ;)).  Then please pm me your forum name, real name, and mailing address.  You must pm me to be included in the exchange.

After I receive information for all participants I will make a random match list.  Each person will receive a name and provide a gift(s) based on the questionnaire.  If you DO NOT wish to be matched with a spouse, the person you had last year, etc. please let me know in your pm.

Deadline to mail gifts out will be December 14 (that is a Wednesday, so that people should have them in hand before whichever holiday they choose to celebrate.  Don't feel like you need to spend a small fortune!  As always, the minimum price is a stamp and an envelope.  In the past, people have received books, faire accessories, faire favors, CDs, DVDs, calendars, all kinds of beautiful hand made items...be creative!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE (I cannot say please enough on this one!!!), if you think there is a chance that you will not be able to afford to do this, do NOT sign up!  It is not fair to the person who is waiting for a gift to have their secret gift fairy back out at the last minute.  I *do* understand that sometimes unexpected situations happen after you have signed up...if that is the case, just let me know, and I will get your person rematched.  But if you are expecting to be a little short on dough this year, please do not sign up!

And as always have fun!!! :D

As a note for whoever is sending a gift to me --- I'll be heading out of town early next Wednesday morning.  If it arrives after that via the Post Office, they will be holding my mail until I get back the following Tuesday.  If it's being sent via UPS, hopefully it will arrive by Tuesday.  If you don't think it will, please wait and ship it on the 23rd, so it will be delivered after I'm back home.  Thanks!

I believe I may have been the first to receive my package, and all I can say is... Irish, you totally ROCK!!!  I LOVE everything, and it's all such FUN stuff!!!  The most awesome darkfaerie greeting cards from Amy Brown (and as a representative of DarkFaerie Subculture Magazine, can I just say...fabulous!!!), featuring her Web Dreams collection of Faeries, with the really cool picture frame tin... and another matching tin from Brian Froud, with the coolest little Oddly Familiar Gnome on them!!!  Next, a bottle of scent that mixes all of the fragrance elements I listed into a wonderfully subtle spice that is light yet compelling, at the same time!  Then I got to unwrap the most gorgeous beaded bangle bracelet I've ever worn, and it feels, looks AND sounds wonderful!!!  Finally, there is a divinely dramatic ornament in lovely shades of topaz and gold, and once it's done hanging on our tree this year, it will hang in my window to catch and refract the light into tawny golden shafts that dance around my room!!!  How exciting to receive so many fun things all in one box!!!  Thank you so very much for taking the time to choose things that so nicely compliment who I am!!!  I love them all!!!  ;D

I, unfortunately, am not finished with the gifts I am sending, either... but I, also, hope to have them sent out by this Saturday!

Thank you Windchime!!!!  The fuzzy socks will be worn out quickly from all of the use they will get and the agate windchime is perfect for me as I am a geologist! ;D

I love everything!!!  It's all so fun, and the scent is just perfect!  Not at all heavy, and with just the right touch of spice...  I can't wait to send some of these cards, also, and it's fun to have cards that I can send for holidays that aren't traditionally though of for sending cards!  I rather enjoy being non-traditional sometimes...  :D

Oh... and the ornament is on our tree, and the bracelet is on my wrist!

Mine is partially on its way (when the card arrives, you'll understand...  ;) )

Thanks!

Take Care,
David Baldock

Well, the gift for me wasn't in my mailbox today, so I'll get it when I pick up my mail at the Post Office next Tuesday.

If it wasn't sent via the Post Office, I hope it doesn't get returned to you, since I won't be here to receive any delivery attempts until next Tuesday.

Take Care,
David Baldock

At first I thought I wouldn't get anything today, but my mail lady stopped me at work today and said she accidentally left behind a package that was for me! And I must say a big thank you to Hunter Rose! I've always wanted a Musical Blades CD and now I can listen to them. And I always wanted a parasol to take to faire but if I can't strap something to my belt I don't take it - and now I have a parasol holder to put one in. Thank you, thank you, thank you! You've made my Christmas very merry! :)

I've had a rather serious setback...  Not sure if any of you have seen the posts in other threads, but I injured my back a few days ago, and have spent most of my time since then mostly horizontal, and in a fog of pain killers.  It's getting better now, though, so I can work on my project once again.  I hope to have it finished very soon!  I'm very sorry for this delay...  :(

You are most welcome Lady Everclear.  ;D I was most fortunate to see Musical Blades at a local pub and I was waiting to send the package until I could pick up the CD.  The parasol holder is my own handy work so if you should ever have issue with it just let me know and I can repair or replace if needed.  I do hope the color is ok as I was straining to make out the color of your belt in your profile photo.

I should add that in addition to the posts I have received a few PM's about late gifts.  So please don't worry!  It looks like everyone intends to send a gift.  Sometimes real life just insists on making things difficult! ;D
And if the gifter wishes to contact the giftee about a late gift please do!  No harm in it. ;)

Well Irish I am tickled that I did well for you!  I know you love all things plaid so I did my best in blue and green!  I hope the tam is comfy and fits and you choose something extra special to pin on it!   My very best to you and yours this Christmas!

P.S. Please be sure to let me know how those discs play.   Sometimes when I burn them they don't "take" very well.   I can easily replace as needed.  And if anyone else wants a set, let me know!!!

Goody!
Thanks so much for my package. Everything in it is being enjoyed. My cat loves his toy and we've had alot of fun watching him play with it. The beads I'll be using for an upcoming piece of garb. The bodkin and retractable tape measure I really needed (I broke my bodkin recently and I'm always losing my tape measure). The peppermint patty was enjoyed immediately(yumm). Oh, and the scrunchie has been alot of fun around here. My youngest son (who looks like John Lennon) put his hair up in it, a few minutes later my husband walks through and flips out because (for a moment) he thought my son was a girl. Now I get to wear it. Thanks again, it's been loads of fun.

Windchime, I do hope you enjoy your gifts. I have a small version of the candle and I love the way it crackles when it burns. I thought the fairy keychain was fun. My kids are getting those as well (from another family member). The cookies are peanut butter and Ritz dipped in chocolate. One of my family's favorites and the cocoa is homemade with peppermint, another family fave. Enjoy!!

I loved the cookies. I am a big chocolate & peanut butter fan. I am also enjoying the cocoa along with my mom. My 2 year old niece thinks the key chain is hers. Thank you again for all the great gifts.

I hope everyone has received a gift by now.  I know real life interviewed quite a bit this year and prevented gifts being sent by the deadline.  No big deal, it happens!
Please post if you have not received a gift yet.
Please post if you have received your gift.  We want to know what you got! ;D
I hope everyone enjoyed the exchange as much as I did!  Till next year!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!!

Oh Joy!  Oh Bliss!  It was like being a kid again!   How much fun to open a package and think that you have no earthly idea what it could be and almost know nothing about from where it came.  So thank you Celtic Lady for the warm heart you sent with your package.   It started out with tears ... which is not necessarily bad when it was from a lovely poem/story beautifully printed as a keepsake about Santa's prayer as he redied for this big night.   What a beautiful reminder of the true meaning of Christmas.   That was gift enough.. But underneath that was 6 of the most amazing scented candle jars!  SCRUMPTIOUS!   and all scents I will love.  I mean how do you top a cheesecake candle!!  Then a lovely pewter snowflake ornament and what may have looked like a gift card to JoAnnes... but for me it was the treasure of picking the just perfect.... something.... to make something absolutly special.  so maybe it is some silver buttons, or maybe  yards of venise lace?  Who knows -  that is the mystery.    thank you so very very much for your thoughtfulness and for making me feel so special.

I knew you'd really enjoy the dark chocolates and I was crossing my fingers that Drunk & Sailor or Misplaced Laces hadn't made their way down there yet. My goal was to send something you hadn't listened to yet. But I'm especially glad the package arrived at all!

Amy, I'm so glad you enjoyed everything. The Santa's Prayer on Christmas Eve is a great reminder of what it's all about.
At first I wasn't sure what I was going to do but after reading that you like earthy and food scents my quest became much easier :). I can't remember if I included a Chocolate Cake and/or a Mint Chocolate candle. They are both delicious. My mouth waters when we are making them.

Hey wait!!!!!  I need to give a proper thank you to Auryn!

The key chain is incredible and I am sure it will start lots of chatter around the office tomorrow, the cookies are wonderful and are now hidden to keep me from eating them all tonight, and the music will help pass the drive to the office in the morning.

Thank you once again!
