It had a lot of black gunk still on it from shipping when I got it. But I cleaned and cleaned with unbleached cotton and then wiped it down with gun oil.
I love the look and the balance. Its now hanging in the 'weapon room'. ;D
Very nice weapon. I love the look and feel of a mace.
