I was just wondering if there are any other pipers on the forum, and if so where about you're based. Do you compete as well as perform? Seems to me there aught to be a "band" forum on here, where players of the Scottish, Irish, and Other bagpipes can confer, converse and otherwise hobnob...
Anyone think this is a good idea?
I am not a piper, per se, but one of my specialties is performing pipe tunes on the fiddle. Love the pipes, just dont have the wind for them.
Last time I was in the Auld country, I visited the Pipers Home, in Glasgow. WOW!
