We shall be there opening weekend and we're very much looking forward to it.  I know there are lots of changes going on but I'm sure a good time will be had by all!  PS If you don't have a good time....it's your own darn fault.  ;)

Dang!  I'll miss you!  Due to an overnight canoe camping trip with Michael's scout troop, I'll have to miss opening weekend.  And, coincidentally, closing weekend as well due to a scouting event.  I'm sure you'll be in good hands with the rest of the crew Nancy!

Thank you all, for the welcome.  I will be looking for fellow R/Fs for sure!

Janice.....sorry we will miss each other  :(
I remember the days of my kids in Scouting/Guiding.....always busy, but a great organization!

It is exciting that you will be joining us for opening wekend!  We will welcome Sadie at the tailgate.  Chat with me at GLMF so we can plan dinner while you are here!

As opening weekend approaches, and out of town friends may be planning to join us, please let us know if you will be available for our Friday evening dinner gathering on Aug. 20th (time and location to be announced)  and we hope you will join us before opening gate for our traditional tailgate party so we can all meet up and enjoy the opening festivities together.  We will also be gathering Saturday after faire.  Please private message me if you have any questions or concerns!!

You are most gracious Charity, and I thank you.  Plans are being made as we speak and we have not decided if we will be there Sat/Sun or just Sun....it will depend on Sadie's work schedule.  I will keep you posted as I would so like to be in attendance at one tailgate and one dinner for sure!

Love and light!

Kharla, can't wait.  Count us in for dinner both nights.  Please make it someplace that serves adult beverages  ;D.  We will pass on the tailgate.

Gina, I sent you a private message, but since you can't make it Friday night anyway, (that is the RSVP we are most concerned about determining an accurate number for) we look forward to see you at our traditional tailgate celebrations!

I would like to get  to know folks better. My daughters probably won't come to Faire this year. My deafness makes it so hard to hear. But please come to say HI if you see me. And don't get put off if it's hard for me to hear. I get very lonely at Faire when I'm alone. I may have a friend with me. I'll be in a dark orange Italian gown with tiers of trim. This is my "use up some of gaboodles of trim" dress and of course little elves embroidered the trim. I may wear a mask. Makes me feel better.

Hi Chriscat...there's always room for more Renn friends in our group.  To paraphrase a quote...A stranger is just a friend I have yet to meet.   I will look for you and welcome you.  There's no reason to ever feel lonely at Faire because there are so many great people there and most are very friendly and welcoming.
Lady Celynn AKA Christine
PS I noticed that you mentioned embroidered trim...do you do embroidery?  I do machine embroidery.
