Each fall the Roanoke County Parks and Recreation sponsors a one weekend faire in Salem, VA at Green Hill Park. It is a fun weekend that is in a beautiful park in the Shenandoah Valley. In addition to the usual vendors and games, there is also a sanctioned highland games event.
