Only 220 more days til opening! Woot!
I see that the slacker cast is taking Memorail Day off again. ;) Oops was that out loud? ;D
Yea Dallan, that was part of my negotiation to come back this year. I told them that if they wanted to have ME back, that they could not work that Monday. Also, if the temperature goes above 80 or it rains, that voids my contract. They of course agreed, I am just that good. Now... how do I program this thread to delete if Goldengoose decides to read it? Hmmmmmmm..

You're coming back on cast this year? SWEEEEEEEEET!! We need more men in court.
BTW Dallan, We could ALWAYS use a few more Yeomen! ;)
Right now it is about 70:30 for being back for me.
Come on Dirtfarmer. Let's get that to 100%
MJ - I would love to be more involve. I have about 9 more years of kids lacrosse before Master Drew is off to high school.

That's what makes the end of MDRF that much more depressing - knowing that the rehearsal process for VARF is coming up.

Ah, but I love the rehearsal process. :)
Why yes, I am a tad masochistic. Why do you ask?

We musicians, however, have rehearsals for the rehearsal. We get to rehearse the new songs and revisit old songs for the dances. And if you're doing double duty like me, you get to forego listening to the radio or your normal CD collection for a few months and listen to the five or six new songs for your stage show in order to memorize the words.

Beats me <RIM SHOT>
I have to admit that I too am looking forward to starting the VARF season! I'll hopefully be doing a fight scene this year since I'm not GM so I'm HAPPY!!! Can't wait!

And you don't even have the slew of Christmas appearances in between. I start practicing Christmas music no later than Labor Day. My family is so sick of it already they may all convert to Judaism.

Bring the kids, I hae team building exercizes they can work on.
They both play lacrosse so we can't make it every weekend. We usually make it at least one weekend either Memorial Weekend or the closing weekend if lacrosse is over.
When do you all usually start auditions / rehearsals? Site preparations?
Is it May yet?
Not yet but we will all be gathering soon, can't wait!
VARF friends, try to remember what this week felt like come weekends in June. ***as he shivers and manages a*** :)
i'd trade a day like these for *any* day in June!

Well you let me know if you're coming and when and I'll put in the request. ;D
Jim-
Have the weekend themes been set yet?
Not that I am aware of yet. They usually set those around March timeframe.
Master James, I make you no promises, but I am sincerely intending that THIS will be the year I finally make it to VARF. I will let you know more as my schedule unfolds.
Professor M I truly do hope that you are able to make it this year! We are much smaller than Pittsburgh and a soft site rather than a hard site but what we lack in size and buildings we more than make up for in entertainment and interactions. PM me when you know when you are coming and if you are interested, you might be able to do guest cast for a day.
