I've pre-ordered back in December.  I hope to have them by July at the latest.  If these are a bit dear for your wallet, there are several other companies that do late 16th c/early 17th c shoes well.

(http://www.garbtheworld.com/instock/catalog.php?category=Shoes)  Garb the world has latchet shoes for $50 right now.  Although they say late 17th C on their website, QEI is seen in several portraits wearing a pair.

Very nice.

I wear a pair of  shin high Leather boots with a nice wide 2 1/2" heel and thick soles with my garb for when at Faire. That helps keep my skirts off the ground and more stability for posture. Even at the end of a long day, my feet feel wonderful.
