Please prepare a one minute monologue. MUST BE MEMORIZED!! If you have other talents that you would like us to consider please be prepared. For example, musical instruments, singing, juggling, gymnastics.
Shakespeare is not recommended. Please choose something that best represents your talents. If there is a specific role you would like, take that into consideration when choosing a monologue. Don't do a clown act if you want to play the King!

Here are a few websites that have both period and modern monologues. Some of them are organized by gender and type.
This should make browsing easier--if you want to play a dark character choose a dramatic one, a goofy character a comic one.
I suggest not using Shakespeare--under pressure his beautiful words can tongue tie even the most seasoned auditioner.
Also remember that your monologues are to be only one minute long. With most of these you'll need to shorten them (in a logical way) to one minute.
