Not sure where this should go:

I was approached today about a local Columbia, TN boy scout group starting a small ren faire in March.  They did it this year and want to do it again, bigger, better, and including the community. I was asked this year to do some belly dancing, but because of tiemconstraints did not make it.

I am curious as to who might be interested in doing some performances. Forgive me, fo I met him many times at TNRF, but I know thereis a man who juggles a crystal ball. I know we have musicians, dancers, etc. here in our community who might be able to give of their time....

Let me know by e-mail, etc.

Thanks!

The  juggler is Avidd.  You might try bagpiper. And he's not on here but Matt from previous years did some magic. He was Matmagican or something like that on Myspace.

Calling all Celts, and lovers of music!
www.kycelticfest.com

The Celtic Fest in Eminence, KY is coming! September 27th and 28th! Crafts, music, mayhem, ehm, I mean loads of fun, Celtic style! There is a listing of vendors and musical acts at the site and they are stellar!

Two I'm especially looking forward to The Mickey Finns (http://www.themickeyfinns.com/)! And Seven Nations (http://www.sevennations.com/)! Last year The Mickey Finns put on one hell of a fantastic show, couldn't help but dance to the music. And Seven Nations is going to be an awesome addition!

Anyone going?

Funny how the gas shortage coincided with the fall of the price of oil last week.  Miraculously now that oil has gone up again, we'll have much more fuel available.   >:(

from Johnny Phoenix. ---Go to rogersville If you can.

My show at The Boiler Room Theatre in Franklin, TN has officially sold out. If you did not get a chance to grab a seat for the big show, there is a possibility of a stand-by ticket list for unclaimed tickets. Email me through my website if you wish to be put on the list.

This weekend, Crockett Spring Park in Rogersville, TN will host their Shakespeare And Friends Ren Fest. I will be there along with Menagerie Music and a host of other entertainers. It's a great little show in a beautiful little park (where Davy Crocket's grandparents are entombed.) They have been hit with bad weather the past few years and I was told if they do not get a good turn out they will not be returning in 2010. So come on out and support a great little show in a great little community before it disappears.
