Have you seen the Oct Threads magazine, a large article on glove making that might be valuable.  Here is the down-loadable patterns from their website http://www.threadsmagazine.com/item/8892/patterns-for-gorgeous-gloves (http://www.threadsmagazine.com/item/8892/patterns-for-gorgeous-gloves).  These might be of some use to you.

Yep Tammi just did a glove making class 3 weeks ago in Eugene, OR and we found you really need to work with your thumb and make sure it fits perfectly in order for the entire glove to work as well a 1/8 inch difference caused the fit to change dramatically.  Tammi used a commercial pattern from Threads Magazine for us to begin to work with.  We had issues with the thumb mons, the thickness of the fleshy part of your thumb, so you will need to make up a mock up of that part and look at how she shows it is supposed to fit.

Also you might want to look at this from Costume Classroom : http://www.costumeclassroom.com/ (http://www.costumeclassroom.com/)
Franchesca Havas  does a great class on this as well.

I am still working on my toile or mock up so as I get okay with it? I will let you know!
