Title: TRF closing weekend
Post by: mpullen on November 30, 2009, 06:36:51 PM
It was with great sadness I departed the campgounds today (Monday). It was the end of eight great weekends of the best Faire in Texas.

I got in line at the campgrounds at 2 PM Wednesday. Just as I got out of the truck to do the usual hail to all, Lord Bud informed me that Bill is opening the gate. So it was, before even popping a brew, we (the eight or so vehicles) were in. The gate was closed after us.

Since this gave us 2 or 3 hours early, we were setup well ahead of time. I even stopped out at the gate at 4:30 to say hello to the folks in line (hehe).

Good Thanksgiving feast Thursday in Chaos camp.

In Faire Friday was chilly but comfortable. Potluck dinner in Red Star was very good.

Saturday was great weather.

Sunday was mixed weather with the evening a real pain.

Cold and rain lasted all the way until the morning.

Ready for TRF 2010.

I enjoyed talking with you and seeing you a lil bit just outside the faire entrance! We at the Green Flame regularly ask eachother if we've seen you and how your doing!

One of these years we may be able to have Thanksgiving dinner with you guys in the campground.
As it is, we'll be having dinner with our daughter and a group of people in Houston.
