The WWE has a new champion...
2009's up and coming... rising star... The Celtic Warrior... Sheamus

Several tv networks have run commercials about him and I wanted to clear up right now for anyone who wasn't sure...
this is NOT our Seamus that we all know and (for the most part) love
For one, though the names sound the same, the WWE wrestler has an "h" in his name.
Our Seamus was told several years ago to "get the h--- out" and he did.
Also, for any of you who have seen the WWE champion Sheamus and remember our Seamus' wrestling debut in the mud at BARF two seasons ago... you know there should really be no confusion.
Thanks for listening. I hope this cleared up any misconceptions you may have had
;D
He is not me....? :P
I figured if it confused anyone...
it'd be you.
Love the hair.....I think he stole it from Syndrome, the bad guy from 'The Incredibles'........ ;)
I had to do a double take! Looks so much alike! ;) ;D :-*
unless, of course, you witnessed "The Thud in the Mud"
Séamus is a male first name of Celtic origin, pronounced / "SHAY-mus" in English. It is the Gaelic equivalent of the name James, ultimately from the Hebrew.
Variant spellings include Séamas, Seumus, Shaymus and Shamus. Diminutives include Séimí, Séimín and Séamaisín.
Its meaning is "one who supplants" or "substitute". In the United States, the name "Shamus" is sometimes used as a slang word for private detective.
"one who supplants" ???
hmmmmm
:P
Odd note Sheamus won shortly after the Iron Leprechaun episode of Bones.
very interesting
even odder, while "he who supplants" does, indeed, fit our Seamus...
"he who faceplants" may fit as well
are we certain of the translation?

I was thinking "faceplants" as well, especially after a little faire back in November.
