For the Rendezvous at Scarborough Faire.... we need some locals to help with the pre-canon tailgate supplies.
We want this to be this best Rendezvous ever..... let's show great Texas hospitality to these wonderful people who are traveling from far away to come see our home faire.
Here's what we need:

Champagne -- Merlin and Var Greyshadow
Orange jiuce -- Merlin

Muffins -- Blue
Tables -- Zaubon and angusmacinnes

Cups -- mieljolie
Chicken Bisquits -- Lady Kett
We want to prepare for about 100 people.
Please step up and volunteer to donate some stuff. Let's get a list going so we have all the bases covered.

I'll be happy to bring mini-muffins for both days. Or some sort of pastry...
I'll be there with the van, I suppose I can forget to take the two six foot table and maybe one or two EZ-Ups out before I leave Houston. ::)

I'm planning on bringing a tray or two of Chik Fil A's mini chicken biscuits on Saturday morning. Sadly they are not open Sundays though. I can scope out something else for Sunday if you want/need me to.
I'll see what is needed closer to the event. We get to site on Friday night and hit Wally World so I can get something last-minute-as-needed.

I'm thinking a couple of parking spots should do it. Most of the action will be wandering about....but if we had a couple of parking spots to put some tables up for snacks and drinks....that would be great.
Can you do one of your spells and just clear the parking lot (as a temporary measure)? ;)

Just a quick reminder to all those special and wonderful people who have volunteered.... start saving those nickles and dimes from the couch cushions to purchase those great treats.
We could still use a few more volunteers to just bring some morning snacks.... fruit plates ... cheese and crackers would be a great addition.
Also...if you see champagne on sale.... let me know. I have no idea how much to get.... but we will have mimosas ! ! !

We did the estimate on total number expected, but there were quite a few kids in that number who probably did not have any. WE had to be lightweights as we were jumping in the car to drive to the Fredericksburg area right after the reception. Grabbed a couple of bottles for the trip, but discovered more when we got back to Lawrence's sister's house afterwards. We generally prefer wine anyway. Thus, supplies for RenDezvous!

If bringing the table is as easy as putting it in a truck or something like that...I would say bring it just in case...if you don't mind. I have 1 small one... others have offered to bring some but to be honest.... we don't know how much room we are going to get or need.
I had a dream 2 days ago that I forgot to save a spot because I got there late.... it was a mess. The only thing that could make that nightmare come true is if I'm fighting a house fire until shift change at 7am on the Saturday.
Friendly reminder to all those wonderful people who have offered to bring things.... only 24 days away so save those pennies and get those items.

We caught wind that both the casts of Maryland and of Colorado are coming in the same weekend as Rendez. Needless to say, WOW!

I'm standing post until 0700 in the morning of that Saturday and have assured my shorties that I will only slow down as I drive by the house..... any not able to jump in the car will be left behind. (I told them we were leaving at 0700....knowing I wont be relieved of my post until around 7:30....heeeheeee...) I know how teenage girls can be.
However the car will be packed with champagne and orange juice!
