Title: New Scottish Rosette
Post by: Wolfhawker on May 20, 2010, 03:52:00 PM
I took a example that I discovered on another website and sat down and made a Jacobite-style rosette.  I used 3/4in white ribbon and some lace. It has been placed on my Blue Bonnet i recently purchased from the Scottish Tartan Museum located in Franklin NC.

Here is the rosette installed on said bonnet:

Here is the above item placed on my head and closeup on in mirror:

See the white rose in his bonnet.
See his banner o'er the Tay!
His good sword, he's gone and drawn it,
And he's flung the sheath away!
