Tell us more about this! Did you use a pattern, what are all the pieces, etc, etc.

First, thanks for posting the pic on the page. I can never figure out how to do that. :) I used the laughing moon womens sporting pattern for 1890's. I also tweaked it a bit because my insperation came form the Taschen book fashion a history from the 18th to the 20th century. There's a wonderful pic of a bycicling outfit that I loved.
My charater is an entomologist. I have a steampunk pin on the lapel (a dragon fly) and on the hat (a beetle with gears and clock hands). My gun is a replica (steampunked up ofcourse) of a late victorian bug sprayer. I am also carring a minors lamp (to see in caves) and my case is my field kit (mag glass, sketch book, pen & ink etc). I used velvet for the hat and trimmed it out in the same fabric as the double breasted coat (the fabric I got at hancocks, onsale). The pants are just heavy weight linen. Hope that answers all the questions. Thanks again for the comments!
I am very proud of this.

One cannot get Steampunk WRONG!!
The new Museum Replicas catalog has Steampunk accessories. I am planning to order Goggles, a watch, and a few things to add to my Williemina Wonka character.
Great look Lady Anna, and congrats also.
For some fun Steam punk extras, I met this guy at Spoutwood Fairie Festival.
Paul Hersey who owns Organic Armor. His pieces look like metal or leather and they are not and very light weight.
