Title: Burda 7880
Post by: Lady Rebecca on June 25, 2010, 09:11:55 PM
I know it's not Ren, but I'm helping out with the costumes for a show I'm in, and the designer has requested that I make Burda 7880 http://sewing.patternreview.com/cgi-bin/patterns/sewingpatterns.pl?patternid=16283 (http://sewing.patternreview.com/cgi-bin/patterns/sewingpatterns.pl?patternid=16283). Does anyone have any experience with this pattern? I've never used a Burda pattern before, either.

I have no experience with either Burda or that type of gown, but I REALLY like it!!

Haven't seen that particular pattern before...  Burda are usually pretty well drafted, so all the bits actually fit together well.  And they are pretty accurate on size as well.  I've used loads of their patterns over the years, and always liked them.

I havent used that pattern but I LOOOVEEEE Burda patterns.
There is generally very little that needs to be adjusted on the patterns, the size they say is the actual size it comes out.
