Does anyone have a crochet snood pattern? A friend is willing to make one for me but we can't find a pattern. :-\
There are a ton on Ravelry. It's free to register and they have TONS of great knitting and crochet patterns.
I just looked on Ravelry but it wants far more personal information than I'm willing to give to a site I won't be a regular part of. Thanks for the idea, though! :D
Anyone else? Snood crochet pattern, please?
??? When I registered, it was only your name and email address just like pretty much every other site?
Yeah, I just registered under a new name to see what the problem was and all it asked for was my email and to create a new username. That's it. You are going to http://www.ravelry.com/ right?
Yup, that's the site I went to but when I tried to download the pattern it was asking for birthdate, address, email, gender, etc.
Oh well. I'm still looking online.
some that I found via google search:

I thought that I had a pattern in my collection, but I can't find it. (sorry)
I've never had to do that when trying to look at the pattern but I mostly stick to the free ones. Using Ravelry, I found this one:
http://www.knitting-crochet.com/crochet/persno.html
and this one:
http://web.archive.org/web/20041024215052/http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Delphi/3212/h-cost1/snood1.html
in fact, those were the first two that popped up on Ravelry when I did a search for "crocheted snood". Maybe you clicked on an ad rather than the pattern? Typically, you just click on the "this pattern is available for $xx.xx" link and it takes you to the pattern...
I just signed up and downloaded 3 patterns from Ravelry.com without more than registering for a free account (email and PW).
Thanks for the link, BTW! What a great site!
Cheers, Aelynn
SO glad I found this thread :D I've been looking for a crochet snood pattern, which are surprisingly hard to find, and just found a couple cute ones on ravelry. Yay! :D
