I want to do a little online window shopping, and I'd love recommendations. Can't really describe what I'm looking for, so a variety of different things (historical/fantasy/etc) would be great.
Suggestions?
Gramercy!!
I have done many pairs of breeches and pants in my time. All with button fly fronts.
Sorry I make my own so I'm not sure where you would get them online.
Gem here are some sites I have collected. Have fun. ;)

Thank you, DW!! Those are great. Still haven't found precisely what I'm looking for, but you've given me a good starting point.
;) Your welcome Gem. Glad to help
If you're looking for pirate style breeches, try www.flyingcanoetraders.com (http://www.flyingcanoetraders.com).
Thanks!
I'm actually looking for full-length, fitted (not baggy) breeches. I know they're not really period, but I was hoping I might stumble across something workable if I had a lot of sites to look through. I found some full-length pants at Threads of Time, but they're only available in black, and I need a brighter blue.

Gem, you may roll your eyes in horror, but if you were looking at the Rogue pants on the Threads of Time site (available in black denim only), they look an awful lot like scrub pants. I know for a fact that scrubs come in many shades of blue, because the company I work for sells them. And they're not the cheap kind you find at Walmart, (though they aren't really expensive), but they are well made and hold up well to repeated washings (think: wearing in the operating room, they must be continuously laundered). They have drawstring waists, and though there is 1 pocket on the back, they can be easily removed with a seam ripper.
How do I know? I bought our younger son 3 pairs of black scrub pants which he wears to faire.
Thanks, Lady R! I actually need something that has more of a tailored fit to it. Right now I'm looking into Victorian and Regency trousers....
gem!

If you go for th RH one, BE VERY CAREFUL with the toiles... NOT one of the better patterns, as I recall...
There is not too much out there for early 19thnCentury pants for men. Unless one takes a latter 18th Century pattern and tweak it. Using pictures helps with that.

Don't worry, Kate. Hell will freeze over before I give RH any of my money. ;D

I hear you about that, gem. But few companies out there for good Tudor men's patterns. Had it not been for the TUDOR TAILOR, I would have been lost when I did Lady De Laney's Catherine Parr based gown in 2008.
Hopefully Margo Anderson will have a Tudor Men's Ensemble collection out in another year or so.
