...for opening weekend (Labor Day Weekend), as of today, Sat 77 with 0% chance of rain; Sun 83 with a 0% chance of rain, and Mon 88 with a 0% chance of rain! Should be great!
ooh... wow yeah i think sun & mon i will break out my new, slightly lighter garb...
Dare I ask the humidity out there this time of year?!
It's 84% humidity right now, as I write this; however, it has been raining the past two days.
Weather for this weekend: Sat 80 high, Sun 86 high, and Mon 89 high. All three days with 0% chance of rain!
It will still feel slightly hot on Monday, but Saturday sounds simply delightful! My weekend last year was 34F. It was FREEZING. And I loved it.
I'll be visiting this holiday weekend! Saturday and Sunday for sure. I'll be wearing my flowered hat, and my RF pin is on there somewhere.
I might not be used to the humidity ... and I'll STILL bring my cloak - just in case.
I hope to meet many of you!
Well all right Blushing! I will be there Sat all day, and Sun until early afternoon. Look for the guy with the blue thrum cap. I'll see you there!
Sat, 18 Sep 40% chance of thunderstorms high of 82. Sun, 19 Sep 10% chance of precip and high of 83. PERFECT! Come on down to Canterbury!
If it storms Saturday, I might just cry :(
IT SURE DID STORM TODAY!!! Thank goodness I was wearing wool! It turned out to be wet wool after the Pub Sing! I guess other parts of Kansas City got fist sized hail. Not Canterbury, though. Whew! I didn't see anyone from RF.com out there today. It was certainly crowded.
I was there, and stayed for most of the rain, left at about 5. Good day!
I enjoyed my first ever visit to KCRF on Saturday, but certainly didn't like the rain in the afternoon.
i completely missed last weekend, probably the only weekend all season i'll miss. it's a shame because i enjoy the shire in the rain. has its own little charm to it. but im sure it will happen again before the season is over.
No rain forecast for this weekend! I will miss Saturday, but should be there all day Sunday.
Nope, I missed the whole weekend. How was it today? Cool?
yes, nice and cool. hope there are more days like it to come.
My last two visits to Canterbury have been rainy Saturdays (just in the afternoons though). This weekend I decided to stick around (bought ye ol' poncho for $3) & was rewarded with some great performances! The Romani danced boisterously right through it. The Jolly Rogers did a lively and comedic set of a cappella requests. Jason Divad brought out some special "end of the day – in the rain" demonstrations of poi and flaming diablo! You've got to check out his show if you haven't already. I loved it! Next weekend looks to be good cool weather – I'm looking forward to that, but was thankful for the performers' rainy-day specials :)
my visits are all over the board weather wise from one year to the next. last season was 32F, so cold. BUT I LOVED IT!!!! year before got perfect fall weather, like 55 and sunny with a light breeze. cannot wait to see my weather in 2.5 weeks, hoping for 50F and overcast!
I think I hit that cold weekend last year too – the Human Chess Match players were so bundled up!! I felt especially sorry for the frozen Fae. It was still lots of fun though – I drank my weight in hot cocoa. One cold & rainy weekend a few years back, my sister & I ducked into a coffee shop. Some of the royal family was there too. I shall never forget playing parlor games with Queen Elizabeth over hot cocoa and sweets!!
kcdcchef – I hope you get some perfect weather!

Thanks Tamtaro, will you be there closing wekend?
gah, it was suppose to be 71 this weekend and it's shot up to 79 for this Saturday! But, I guess I'd rather it be 80ish and sunny than raining :P I can't wait!
We will be there this weekend (Sat and Sun for sure, maybe Mon) - weather looks great to us

I drive out from Columbia, so plans can change, but at this point I am planning to be out at the Festival the last two Saturdays! Two more fun-filled weekends!! (and crepe-filled! I love crepes!) :D
Are you gonna go to the CentralMORenFest? I think we'll be there on Sat, 16 Oct. But back to KCRF for closing day on Sun, 17 Oct.
Butch I would like to meet you! Closing Sunday you say? Weather looking perfect for closing weekend. And this one.
kcdcchef: Yeah, man, sounds good! I'll be there on closing day, Sunday! We can post more as the date gets closer! I look forward to meeting you!
