Title: School of the Musketeer
Post by: mross7 on September 08, 2010, 08:43:04 PM
I think this maybe of interest to some, it's a about a reenactor event, School of the Musketeer, near Richmond VA.  http://www.kingdomoflucerne.com/ click on the "School of the Musketeer" line. It's none profit, but you do need to pay to attend, mostly to cover food costs ($30 for the whole weekend). I sure everyone here has the sword play and garb categories covered, but they also teach cannon and matchlock musket drills, firing blanks, plus cooking and some crafts. There may be other things that may interest some here. I hope this doesn't violate the "no-spamming" rule.

The Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire has some cast members who are involved with School of the Musketeer and do an encampment at the faire along with live firing demonstrations.
