I already know the answer is most likey yes but the pink pirate wanted me to ask.
The Pink Pirate and I are going to be at TRF with our group of friends we always go with. I know of at least 2-3 more friends have expressed going visiting other camps. The Pink Pirate wanted me to ask if we would be welcomed to stop by and say hi.
Is there anything in particular we should do/ not do when we come visiting? Any places you recomend we stay away from....
My Clan will be camping next weekend and you are more than welcome to come visit. Just look for the green flag with Odin's Horn.
Phoenix Risen always has a welcome mat open
I do a walkabout almost ever night I am out at faire and have never had an issue yet.
Usually I just walk in and say "Hi I'm Teach!" and introduce myself to everyone I can.
*Being generous with my rum and loki flasks usually helps make new friends too.*
Lady Stitch, I know that both McLotofus and Phoenix Risen are always welcoming, and I'm pretty well convinced Clan Procrastination is, as well, so those three, for sure! Particularly since I will most likely be found at one or the other of them, and I would love to see you both again! We hardly had a chance to pass two words at RenDezvous, and it would be lovely to sit and chat a bit by the fire with you!
Like I said, I knew the answer was yes but the Pink Pirate wanted to ask. I know this year is going to be so much nicer since we actually know more people out there. :)
I'm sure we can spend some time with you Rani :) And Teach I know that the Pink Pirate wants to say a personal thank you for 'teaching' him about Pyrate Rum. :)
Make sure when you stop by PR you bring a big ol' jug of Potters Rum for Teach.. He loves that stuff!! ;) ;D
Yep Potters is his fav, just ask Zaubon!
The weekend that we are there, soon as we get camp set up on Friday, we will wander on down to PR just to see every one. ;D
Edit: BTW the concillium doesn't have a regular place (because our monarch is VERY fickle) but we are typically rows 19-20 , C-H . And yes we love visitors who don't mind the walk.
Y'know, someone could make a tidy little sum ferrying people around in one of those really big golf carts, just in tips!
Rani, I agree with you. There is a reason the Ricksha guys will do camp delivery's for $50 bucks. :)

Maybe they could get one of the people shuttles from an airport, with the recording that says, "
Please step aside!" ;) ;D

Wrong... very very wrong
*Potters isn't rum... it's a vile horrible lie in a bottle*
What weekend do you plan to make it out LadyStitch?
*And I discovered even better than Pyrate rum... Ron Zacapa. Costs about twice as much but also about twice as good*

Be sure to come by McLot too! See ya soon! :)

Talk about your Highwaymen!!! Those guys are the ones who should be strung up on Tyburn!!! What a racket!!! Taking all those who have already had a bit too much to drink while inside the gates for all that money... of course, by that time of evening I'm sure there are a few who are willing to pay it, and it IS quite a haul out to some of the camps... I think it should be based on distance, though!
Lady Stitch remember to look at the Who,When,Where thread so you know who's going to be there that weekend.

We will have a small clan of about 10 camping on Pirate Weekend. We call ourselves the drunken monkey clan. You can identify us by the two large blue and gold macaws who will be sharing our campsite with us. All visitors are welcome - rum and loki are also welcome.
I've checked out the who what where when post and most people are saying they won't be there the weekend after AHE. We will stumble by the locations of most of the camps now that we know we are welcomed. ;D

Tee Hee!! :D :-*
Lady Stitch I will be around row 0 with 20 or so others wading through a loki fog. Look for the large white pavilion backed up to the fence. You and yours are very welcome to visit our pub and share our fire.
sorry dyslexia kicked in. Row 25g ish.
Is that the one with all the flags around it? I'm sure we can wander our way over there. :)
We look forward to visiting with you.

We took one one time from the first row parking to camp (row 8) I think we only paid $25. It was so worth it, my feet were killing me, I could barely walk. He not only took 3 of us, but our chairs and loki too.
Well, that's not bad for 3 people and their Loki... LOL Can you imagine the tips someone could make out there with a club car, though?!? Not just right after closing, but well into the evening, as well, when people want to run around to other camps. All you'd have to do is print up a bunch of cards with your cell number on them, and hand them out by the handful at every camp you dropped anyone at, then try to keep up with the calls... :o heheh
Wonder what sort of vendor licenses and fees the State of TX would require for a shuttle business that operates solely on private property?
Permission from George, agreement for his cut, & liability insurance
But what if they were just out there accepting "tips"? If they're not actually charging a set price, and they're using their own generator to charge the cart/s, who's to know, or complain? LOL
Feel free to drop by. Wierd music, runic banner, couple tiki torches, bald guy, long hair guy, and a guy with tattoos with kidnapper van. Thats us.
I've managed to wrangle a couple more people to come camp hoping with me. I hope some of you recover from AHE to be there this weekend. ;D
We'll be at Faire this weekend, but not camping. Our only two camping trips left will be highland fling when we'll be pitching in with the RF'ers around row 5-ish and Closing when we'll be in our usual Clan Procrastination spot.
