I'm still working out all the sore joints, but wanted to post what a fun time we had this weekend! I'd been planning the trip for four months, and managed to wrangle fifteen friends, family and band members out to the campsite Friday evening.
On another note, we noticed a couple 'on/in the ground' campfires. One was right next the road and was seen by the security officers several times Friday night, yet they never stopped or told the guy to extinguish it. Back on topic...
My Andar boots hit critical mass/structural overload Saturday morning as I busted a strap along the back of the leg. I'm now looking at Son of Sandlar...
For the festival itself, I've realized that herding cats is a hard task, so eventually we all spread out Saturday to do our own thing. :) And Sunday, everyone (except me) was too sick or hungover to attend much, so we were forced to go home around 2PM. Dangit.
Move over, Ded Bob; I have a new favorite show at TRF! I saw Arsene Dupin's magic/juggling/comedy show TWICE; it was that good. Love his facial expressions. Also saw Sound & Fury for the first time - another great show!
All in all, a great weekend with amazing weather. The ravers still carrying on at 4M Sunday morning bothered me a bit, even with earplugs in (highly recommended, regardless), and we were several hundred yards away. How can THEY sleep with all that racket? I must be getting old...
I'm planning another trip solo here in a few weeks, if I can schedule around band performances. There were several shops and shows I missed (I promised Sholo I'd see his, and I missed it again), simply because I was too busy playing tour guide. And of course, I need to buy some new boots. :)
Pics to come later!

Batninja, It was nice to meet you Saturday, and I'm happy to hear y'all had a great time! TRF has so much to offer, if you don't have fun you're not doing it right!
