I need to rent some garb for my 12 year old neice. They do have such a shop still?
Anyone?
Morning Dona,
The rental shop is outside the gates on your left as you walk up to the ticket sales/gates. So yes, it's still there. No idea what they have but it's there!
Have a safe trip and we hope to see you this weekend!
Yep, the shop is there. Also not sure of what they have, but some good people work there and will help you out.
Thanks guys!
This is her very first fair and I want her to get the full flavor of the fun.
Minus Irish & Rose unfortunately.
Well, Adam Crack is just down the way from Iris & Rose if you wanted to split the timing on the shows LOL. They overlap at least a little.
Wait a minute, I thought Iris and Rose was an educational show? ;D

Role models even (o:
I overheard a conversation that there is a chainmail store in the faire that will let you wear their chainmail (for FREE) if you leave them your drivers license and a solemn vow you will return at the end of the day.
Does anyone know if this is true and if so which shop? I would LOVE to wear chain-mail next year!
Lorde Randolph's Chain Mail - I believe you have to walk parade and participate in the chain mail fashion show after parade as well. But I don't know how strict those last two are.
My daughter did this for closing weekend, and she had a wonderful time! Yes, you do have to walk the parade AND do the fashion show directly afterward, but they will let you continue to wear the chainmail until 4pm, when it needs to be returned so they can get it cleaned and ready for the next show. They're all wonderful people there, and extremely nice, and the parade and show are both fun!

yes! yes! They talked me into it :D and I am glad I did it was a blast! I was nervous as could be and sorry I was terrible haha but whatever, it was fun!
You were AWESOME!!! You all were, and Scally has never HAD so much fun at Faire, ever!!!
Awesome,
I would be honored to walk the parade!
To me , walking around in chain mail is a day long fashion show......
That will be my first stop next year.
I noticed some women wear covers for their nipples, is that a new rule or it is just because some are just more modest than others?
I tried looking on the list of Artisans and Craftspeople for Lord Randolph's Chain Mail but couldn't find it. I looked under adornments, metal works, and clothiers, and weaponry...........hmmmmm, what category??????
I saw a Chain Maille Fashions as #22 under the category adornments, is that it?
Yes, I think it is.
Yes, that's it.
