At this time of the year, many religious and "non-religious" groups alike have their own specific celebrations. The Rennie community is comprised of people of all walks of life, of all religions, and lack thereof. We are as diverse as we are numerous. Rather than offer a wish on a specific day, I offer this in the midst of many celebrations...
Regardless of your belief system, it seems that this is a good time to take the time to smile an extra smile, to offer a meal to someone who has none, to give your coat to someone who is cold, to hug someone who is alone. If we cannot take the time and effort to lend aid, in whatever form, we lose our humanity.
To all here, Christian, Buddhist, Jewish, Wiccan, Islam, Druid, Atheist, Hindi, Shinto, Vodun, or any of the many other philosophies, I offer you my wishes for a full and happy life, and hope that you wrap your loving arms around someone less fortunate.
Well said, Merlin. I think no one could have said it better. Many blessings to you as well. Merry Blessings to all of our rennie friends and their loved ones.
Hear, hear, Merlin. All the best to you and yours, and to everyone here, may you have a festive and joyous season!
Wishing Everyone a Joyous Holiday Season!!! :D :D :D
Blessings of the season to everybody! :)
Blessings and wishing you all...a very Happy New year!
A toast to our good Merlin and his very wise words. May your hearts and homes be filled with warmth of a thousand fires from those who call you friend. The best seasons wishes to all.
Joy to you all, now, and forever... :)
As it is the thought, not the actual words, I'm going to go ahead and say it.
MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYONE.
Blessings of the season for you all!

Merry Christmas, Bright Blessings and Joyous Revelries to all!
I completely agree!
Happy Season and New year to all!!!!
This has made the rounds the last couple of years but bears repeating...
A Season's Greeting
Please accept, with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasion and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all.
I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2011, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America great. Not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country nor the only America in the Western Hemisphere. And without regard to race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference of the wisher. By accepting these greetings you are accepting these terms.
This greeting is not subject to clarification or withdrawal. It is freely transferable with no alteration to the original greeting. It implies no promise by the wisher to actually implement any of the wishes for himself, herself, or others, and is void where prohibited by law and is revocable at the sole discretion of the wisher. This wish is warranted to perform as expected within the usual application of good tidings for a period not to exceed one year or until the issuance of a subsequent holiday greeting, which ever comes first, and the warranty is limited to replacement of this wish or issuance of a new wish at the sole discretion of the wisher.
