Title: Seeking seamstress near Houston TX
Post by: bran_gray on January 07, 2011, 12:37:40 PM
I'm not sure if this belongs here but this seems like the best forum to post it.  I am looking for somebody handy with thread and needle to make a few articles of clothing for myself for an upcoming Ren wedding.  Normally I would seek out one of the many well known vendors but I would like the items to be tailor fitted.  If anybody would be interested please post here or shoot me a PM.  Or if anybody knows a good vendor with decent prices.

Well, Griffin & Ivy / Authentic Wardrobe are in the "general" area (all distance being relative in Texas).

Griffin & Ivy's Emporium (http://www.griffinandivysemporium.com/index.html)
Authentic Wardrobe (http://www.authenticwardrobe.com/index.html)

If Queen Bonnie, or someone else in the know, pops in, they can explain the difference between the two. To me, they are the same people because of association. Regardless of all that, the Griffin & Ivy site mentions custom work, if that is what you are looking for.
