Okay, I know on this forum I have to say I dont mean CHICKEN! ::) ;D I mean movies that usually people think women watch.
Do you have a favorite?
I just watched Letters To Juliet and it made me CRY. I never cry during movies!! (It was a happy cry)
Then my oldest daughter says "too bad its so unrealistic". I told her to be quiet and dont SAY that, lol!!!!
Speaking of movies, off to watch Robin Hood again.(the newer one.)
Shakespeare in Love *siiiiiiiigh*
Ever After
The Notebook
That's about it. I am not usually a big chick flick girl
You've got Mail. The end, when Meg Ryan is waiting in the park to meet her online romance and Tom Hanks comes around the corner and she says " I was hoping it would be you" and the song Somewhere over the Rainbow is playing.... I love that movie. :)
I am not either but I do have a few favorites that kind of pull at my heart strings, have to add Letters To Juliet to that but a couple of the others are Wedding Date and definitely Ever After!
Do the Kill Bill volumes count as chick flicks? Just kidding ;)
Let's see...chick flicks...
Pretty in Pink was great (although I would have picked Duckie)
Sixteen Candles was great, too.
I loved Romy and Michele's High School Reunion!
There are a few more, but those are the ones that really stick out in my mind...even the Kill Bill ones because those are my favorite movies :)

Finding Neverland
In Her Shoes
Last Chance Harvey
Legally Blonde
Love Actually
Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day
Penelope
Nim makes fun of me because I enjoy most chick flicks, some of them more than her! Some of the ones I enjoy:
The American President
Baby Boom
Chocolat
Holiday
My Fair Lady
Paris When It Sizzles
Sabrina (1954)
Serendipity
Something's Gotta Give

Steel Magnolias
While You Were Sleeping
Pretty Woman
Practical Magic

Whille You Were Sleeping
Leap Year (love the images of Ireland!)
Roman Holiday (Gregory Peck & Audrey Hepburn)
...ANY Audrey Hepburn does it for me. I'm STILL in love with her! :-*
The Bridges of Madison County
Gina
The Bridges of Madison County
Thats a GOOD one!
My preference in movies runs more to Lord Of The Rings, Pirates of The Caribbean and even Avatar but there is something about this time of year. Maybe its Valentines Day?Hmmm.
I thought of another one I like! Stardust!!

See, I wouldn't consider that a chick flick. More along the adventure lines than romance.
Practical magic
A league of their own
Dracula (1992)

Love Actually. Kinda surprised no one's mentioned that one yet.
I also second Shakespear in Love and Ever After.
Not a chick flick kinda gal (give me a good action movie any day...), but those are actually good movies.
I would not have considered Princess Bride a chick flick, but that's a good movie too! :)
Princess Bride
Stardust

My Fair Lady
Kate and Leopold
A Walk in the Clouds

Right now I am making an "amazon list" of the ones I dont have.
Thought of three more I marginally like depending on my mood.
Mama Mia
The Proposal
Must Love Dogs
Have you ever seen My Brilliant Career with Judy Davis and Sam Neil? It's a wonderfully romantic portrait of a young woman in turn of the century Austrailia. Highly recommend.
Also A Room with a View
Both good movies Anna. :)
I thought about adding Australia because I loved the movie but not certain it counts as a chick flick?
What about that new film RED? Action/adventure, yes; but you've gotta love the romance throughout!
Ha ha I loved John Malkovich in that
I was going to say RED but thought it was more action....still, there is some great romance in it!
Becky, lol, I agree about John Malkovich, in the movie, he was my most favorite character. :)
Not a big chick flick fan, but here are my few:
Pretty Woman
EverAfter
Chocolat
Pride & Prejudice (A&E version with Colin Firth)
I forgot Hope Floats....maybe someone put that here but I dont recall seeing it.
