Title: Why So Little Activity?
Post by: Norfolk on February 05, 2011, 01:52:49 PM
A modest query for you Fairhaven locals:  Why so little activity on the forum with only a week to go before your season opens?

Baron

Most of the locals who were here, left with the mod when she took her leave. Beyond that, most of the locals are busy getting ready for the big event!

Pleased to see we are not dead my fine faire folk.
It's pleasant to see activity in these hallowed (if not gallowed) halls.

I hope to see you on Sundays this season.

New King this year...hopefully new buildings replacing the razed and scorched.

See you all soon!

Kings can retire?  (I wonder if Elisabeth II knows this?)

Lots of new stuff! Some new members of the royal family, new costumes (soooooo beautiful!),
new kitchens, new front gate show! New "shows" as well. See you all this weekend!
Good to hear from you Julianne! See you on Sunday.

Good luck to you all and may you have a fantastic run! I doubt that my family and I will be able to make the trip down this year to attend the faire (of course, my parents are inclined to do whatever they please especially as my mother has just retired, but I have 15 credits on my plate and a weekend job, so getting away for even a weekend is difficult. Alas.). Nevertheless, much love to all of you, safe travels to the Baron and Baroness and all the others who will be making their way south. Have a drink for me! I shall be thinking of you.

Perhaps we shall see some of you in Larkspurshire this summer for Rendezvous?

Grammercy, Mistress Zoe.

As mentioned elsewhere, having fun at festival is something of a chore, but we'll give it our best shot ... or shots.

Please convey our congratulations to your Mom on her retirement.

We will miss seeing you in Fairhaven, but look very much forward to seeing you in playtron mode this summer.  In the interim, best of luck as you finish work on your degree.

Prosit!

Baron and Baroness von Schaumburg

Many thanks, Baron. I shall pass along your best wishes. I too can't wait to experience Larkspurshire from the "other side of the fence," as it were. I'll be moving to Fort Collins over the summer so I'm not certain that I'll be there every weekend (in fact I'm sure I won't) but I will make an attempt to get there as often as I can, finances allowing.

Three cheers for Fairhaven!

Building go poof!

Building rebuilt,

Ticket prices raised to cover fire insurance.

And that's the rest of the story.
