Title: Margo's Shoulder Tab Patterns...
Post by: Sorcha on March 02, 2011, 09:38:34 AM
For those of you who have Margo's patterns, do you use her shoulder tab pattern pieces?  There are 4 different tab pieces for each shoulder.  Three of the 4 you cut two of.  They get smaller in size as you go around the arm.  But they are also funky shaped.  Flat on one side.
I'm finding them not so easy to work with when piping the edge.  The flat side and making sharp corners with the piping especially.   I can pipe small pieces, no problem.  But is the work to fit the extra shaping worth it?
I'm just wondering if you use these tab patterns or just make them all the same shape, just in descending sizes??  Is there really a difference in looks when all is said and done?

Did I just make sense here??  ???

I have used her SHoulder roll pattern a number of times.

For shoulder treatments, I usually make my own pattern or use trims instead to make shouder tabs less bulky.
