Why is it, that when the count-down to faire reaches the 100 days or less point, it seems so much closer?
Because that last 100 days goes by in a flash (at least at my age)!
My Colorado countdown is for RenDezvous, though:
120 days, 18 hours, 22 minutes, 21 seconds, until Saturday, July 2, 2011 at 10:00:00 AM (Larkspur time)
Huzzah!!
90 days and counting, Lords and Ladies!
Which brings me to ask: What are you looking most forward to on opening day this year?
To find out if I will be there or not! Haha.

Seeing the new princess, all the new outfits, the acts, and of course... funnel cake (cant be a day at the faire without funnel cake)...

You are far too kind, my Lord. of Bracknell But, unless your travel plans have changed rather drastically, you won't even BE here on opening day!
I won't be there opening day, unfortunately- I'll be in Ohio at a family reunion. However, I am looking forward to the Celtic Fling, where I hope to meet in person a few of the interesting new friends I have made on this board!
Putting on the garb and taking a trip back in time to see friends
A mere 80 days hence, the canon will sound, opening the 35th annual Colorado Renaissance Festival! The Baroness and I are jazzed!
