Okay, I'm not sure how to insert an image :-\ so I'll have to ask you all to look it up: it's McCall's pattern #M4696 bodice A. The whole thing has been put together, but I've just realized it's a little short for my torso. Any suggestions how to amend it without ripping it apart??
Tabs, maybe? Just my guess... I should really let the experts take this one, though.

No, you're right, I was just thinking that myself. Tabs or a ruffle. Thanks Rani! ;D
Oh, I think a peplum might look really nice on that one, actually!
maybe picadills- like this.

Otherwise I think you would need to lengthen the shoulder supports by inserting some fabric.
FYI, this pattern tends to slope out at the shoulder so you might need to change the angle of the piece at the very top anyway.

Thank you Dona! Can you tell me how to insert a picture into one of these posts??
Can't lengthen the shoulders either Dona, I already sewed on the neckline trim :( But I think any of these suggestions would work, thanks again!
Thank you ladies for your ideas! I added a ruffle, and it looks like it should've been there all along.

Great!
Now we want to see you wear it. ;D
As soon as I complete the chemise, I will have my husband take a pic of me in the entire ensemble Dona. It's turning out SO nice!
