Title: Printed Chainmail on Fabric
Post by: BubbleWright on April 10, 2011, 08:29:47 PM
Many years ago there was a company in Maryland that sold cotton fabric that had chainmail printed on it. They also sold shirts made with this fabric. I just came across a company, Spoon Flower, that does custom printing on fabric and they are thinking about doing chainmail. Any thoughts or interest in this? Do you know of a souce for chainmail printed fabric? Below find a link to the Spoon Flower site:

I have heard of Spoonflower, I have their site bookmarked, but I haven't worked with them.
I don't know of any chainmail printed fabric, but I would be interested in it.

Wow--photorealistic! But I think I would need to see it made up into something. Printed cottons just don't *behave* the same way chain mail, or even knitted faux-mail, does. It would make a nice element in a quilt, though.
