I was thinking of a poem by Lawrence Ferlinghetti called "I am Waiting" the other day and thought the the spirit behind it would make a good thread. Each section of the poem ends with "a new rebirth of wonder."

I am waiting for my number to be called
and I am waiting
for the Salvation Army to take over
and I am waiting
for the meek to be blessed
and inherit the earth
without taxes
and I am waiting
for forests and animals
to reclaim the earth as theirs
and I am waiting
for a way to be devised
to destroy all nationalisms
without killing anybody
and I am waiting
for linnets and planets to fall like rain
and I am waiting for lovers and weepers
to lie down together again
in a new rebirth of wonder

I'm not thinking we're all going to as witty as Ferlinghetti (though many of us are capable of it). Just put down whatever you're fed up with or disillusioned or frustrated about, whether small scale or grand.

Here's my humble starter:
I am waiting for all the advertisers to make 2 color ads correctly.

 I am waiting for all the litterbugs to pick up their trash!

I am waiting for dog owners to pick up their babies' deposits.

i am waiting for people to at least be aware of how much is wasted everyday.

I am waiting for Chocolate cake to be good for you
So I can view my bottom
in a new rebirth of wonder.

I am waiting for men to stop playing with guns

I am waiting to hear from a dear friend that she's had her baby!

I'm waiting for people to understand the true meaning of "need" and "want".

I'm waiting for people to appreicate what they have vs what they don't have.

I"m waiting for them to outlaw and ban plastic bags
I'm waiting for him to realized i'm feeling the same he is.

I am waiting for a dear friend to pull her head out of her arse.  I think I will wait a life time for that though.  :P

I am waiting for the day that most dogs and cats will be spayed and neutered and the ones that have litters will have good homes for each one of them.  From this same day forth, all animal shelters will be "no kill" shelters and have mostly empty kennels.

I am waiting for my neighbor to move his motor home out of his driveway that he has his girlfriend living in and his wife living in the house! OUCH - I am waiting to see how long is this gonna go on?

I am waiting to see if my boss does the right thing and let his son hit rock bottom.

I am waiting for my ship to come in, and not be torpedoed in the harbor, along with all my hopes and dreams. :)

I am waiting for the day when I can move out and move on.

I am waiting for people to stop supplying their dogs with sexual partners as a way to compensate for their own lack of a sexual relationship or satisfaction. (Yes, Lady N posted a version of this earlier but it bears repeating).

I am waiting for people to be nice just because with not strings attached.
Yes "nice" is a four letter word but it really won't hurt you.

I am waiting for education to be about discovering and developing each person's unique talents and gifts so they are able to act in the world to their fullest potential.

I am waiting for the final custody papers to come on this child I have been raising for 8 yrs. HOORAY!

I am waiting for my Pirate Joe to get here

I am waiting for Godot.

I am waiting for a co-worker to realize that he doesn't need to buy booze and cigarettes for his 22 year old son.

I am waiting for my boss to come back from a company provided week's hunting in Novia Scotia and give me my pay cut back.

I am waiting for this day to get done so I can go home and cuddle with my favorite pirate and get that promised full body massage..  ;)
