Who'll be there?
Rockyard Brewery http://www.rockyard.com/rockyard_location.html (great satelite map location of surrounding area for those staying near here)
Friday night, July 1st, Starting at 7PM til 11ish or until kicked out?
Let us know how many are with you RF'ers, friends, relatives, kids, significant others, so we may can have a ballpark figure if we need the inside and/or the outside balcony.
Dinner can be had here, on the inside, but if we're outside, it will be more a gathering for drinks, and surprise festivities will commence between 8 -9 PM. If you wanna have dinner/appetizers/food, I'd suggest starting a bit earlier like 6 to 7PM.....

Ian
I'll be there.
Lord Gauwyn, Lady Addilay and 2 pre-teen squires (squires - maybe). So 2 maybe 4.
I plan on attending, assuming I can catch a ride.
I'd be happy to offer you a ride, Tanda, but I'm leaving the Castle Rock Comfort Inn at 6:59 pm, by foot, to arrive at Rockyard Brewery by 7:00 pm, seeing how it's across the street...
Add me! (And you might as well count MG in too)

I'm sure it's thought we're attached at the hip but it's not entirely true :)
Excuse my silly question, but what date? Friday 1 July?
The Baroness and I plan to be there ... for an hour or so.

I appreciate that Merlin, but I know of at least one gallant man who has offered a spare space in his vehicle to me, and I'm pressuring a certain local gypsy to make more appearances at this event. I'm well covered.
Count us in: meself + cowgrrl + 2 kids = 4

Looking at the map, we might want to leave at 6:55 pm if we're going on foot...it appears to be a rather long block away ;)
On the other hand, if you drive from the Comfort Inn, you'd have to leave at 6:50 ;D
Merlin, You can have dinner here, but I;d suggest you start a bit earlier, say 6PM? (first post updated).
Butch, July 1st, 2011, is indeed the date, Sir. (first post updated)
Baron and Baroness, We will start the "fun" around 8PM, hope you can stay for that. (It might take an hour)

Alas, we will need to depart the festivities not later than 8:30PM. Cast call comes EARLY, don't you know!
Count me in! I will have at least one with me; possibly all 4 of us will be there. Huzzah!
Me & my trusty Sidekick will be there!
It certainly seems that Scarborough will be well-represented. Has that boy of mine not checked in yet?
Put me on the list, I'm pretty sure I can get there without breaking too many traffic laws.
I mean guidelines ;D
As a formal RSVP for the meet and greet, I scoured the beer menu...as the menu is more than adequate, we got a room next door...see you all anon!
Not sure if it showed their seasonal at the moment, but we attended the brewery Sunday eve, the place was packed/waitlisted, but we were fortunate enough to aquire two seats at the bar.........
And just 1 week ago, they tapped the seasonal 'Wildcat White Ale", almost a hefeweisen, more of a witt, cloudy by brewing nature, fresh and tasty, like food itself, yet not heavy at all, and defenately not a light bier!
This Wildcat brew was once my favorite darling served at CoRF about 4-5 years ago but was replaced with Paulaner hefeweisen, *note* (the Paulaner hefe was removed from the pubs for this year).
Mrs. Wheatie and I will be there Friday night.

Spleen, please tell me that the RF Rendezvous Meet N Greet will have an area reserved!
I cant its too late for me ::)
I have to be making fresh flower garlands and then a rather early morning as well. Soo you all are just going to have to stop by my shop and say hello in the morning or when ever you get around. :)
Originally we had the outdoor balcony reserved, but it only holds 32 safely, I told them early on that we'd probably have 20-30 persons.
We should have the indoor space that's a U-turn left as you enter the hosts area.
The balcony can be rather windy, so inside is looking better.
The small Maryland contengent is quite stoked already... 8)
As best as I can tell, there will only be two Arkies present, so your small Maryland contingent shant be lonely....
Adriana, it will be late for Nimue and me as well, as we are both used to getting up at 4 am, but I understand, and we will most assuredly stop and say "Hello." I'll make sure that evil-eyed sicko Spleen gives us good directions... ;)
hahaha take a right from the gate and listen for the gaggle of garland girls hawking garlands... theres a pub right next door too ;)
Well, if there's a pub, I know I'll find you!
Add me and my nephew to the list as well please.
Well, howdy, stranger...don't think I've seen you in these parts before... Welcome.
Lol thanks for the welcome Merlin. I havent been around in a while. I was quite the regular here 3 or 4 years ago when i was making yearly trips to the Ette invasions in Tennessee. When Spleen told me the Rendevous was in his neck of the woods I just had to attend. Ill be staying in the same hotel where you are at.
Has anyone warned the Hotel about the revolry that will be going?
The locals will find out about RenDezvous revelry soon enough....
Master Kariuss, Will be good to catch up.......

Yes, all the 'quiet' ones are staying at the Best Western ;D
For those at the Comfort Inn, whatever you do, don't talk to Nim before she's had some coffee in the morning. She can be quite dangerous. ::)
*Nimue, a sympathetic and tragic young priestess who falls in love with Merlin (the Elder) but is duty bound to seduce and lure him to his death.*
So Merlin the Elder, A Coffee induced Nimue, is your secret to a long life?

Basically. My rule of thumb is, "Don't piss her off today, and live to see tomorrow." (...and, of course, I'm joking...for the most part...)
As of right now Toki and I may be there on Friday at about 8PM. We got off work and then have that drive down from way northern Colorado. We were trying to book our rooms but the damn system is down
Ok We WILL be there at around 8

Huzzah! We're looking forward to seeing you again...I can't believe it's been 3 years since we were up there last!
I may need to rescind my RSVP. My family and I may end up going to Denver on Friday night. If I can be at the Brewery, I will be there; however, it looks like our plans have changed. We WILL be at the Faire both days!

Don't expect this former lead singer/guitarists/keyboard player to do anything musical or singing
I didn't bring my gear either, or I could be talked into some jams... I did, however, find a couple boxes of CDs in the garage of my band from a few years back. If anyone wants one, they are free as long as they last. Think classic rock...shades of Beatles, Eagles, Moody Blues, Steely Dan...and you might be close. I'll have them in Homer, the Odyssey, for whoever is interested.

I love this kind of stuff - can you save one for me ?
Dad? Me?
On our way. Got a latter start than we wanted thanks to traffic from work to home, then to get on the highway. Northbound traffic was backed up about 3 miles south of Loveland. Be at the rockyard about 8ish
Many, many thanks to Capt Spleen and Blushing for an awesome welcome at Rockyard.
GREAT job !!! T'was very fun !

And captain Spleen! Loved the gift exchange!
Sorry I had to miss you all tonight! Castle Rock was a little far for me. I will, however, see you all at faire on Sunday. I will be wearing an Ulster Red Modern tartan ancient kilt (NOT great kilt) pleated correctly mind you, and I will be carrying the shield in my avatar. It looks like this:

You see that strapped to my back... Well, you find me!! I can't wait to hang out with you lot!!
This was a very fun and well thought out event! Blushing and Spleen and anyone else involved in the planning of it should be commended (not committed) for their efforts. I had a blast!
Getting ready now to go meet Spleen and the rest in the parking lot!
I'm still in favor of "committed... 8)
It was a gerat time last night...can't wait for gate!
I vote for commited as well

Gentlemen, You're very welcome.
What a great group of people at this years RenDezvous!
Kudos also goes to Sir Garath, Official RenDezvous photographer, and he made our RenDezvous and Pub Crawl cards.
Romanceteers Ball, seems to be a "hits", so far too. Last day for hits today.
And Thanks to Tanda for her "hit services" yesterday!
Thank you, planners and attendees all!
See you at Tail Gate!
