Just a real quick question for you Rengyspy - Are people in Celtic-themed garb welcome to bring out their outfits for the weekend or is this more of a Dane thing? My Druid Fionnuala is itching to get out :D

Should it matter? If one shows up in garb to such an event, would they be that much out of place? Me, I'm planning to be in some kind of garb, regardless.
come in garb, if you like. adds to the overall atmosphere. absolutely. its a celtic festival. yes, yes, yes.
Huzzah! Thank you rengypsy! I'm still very new at this fairegarbing role, so I didn't know if some festivals were considered to be " off limits " to that kinda thing.
Fionnuala will be there bright and early!
We were at the Quad city games on the 17th. There were plenty of folks in garb, though most people dress in mundanes for comfort. The games go on for 8-9 hours and spectators move around to the different sport fields to follow the action; similar to professional golf. The vendors and food alone are worth getting to any games near you.

I think if I was wearing anything but a simple dress and cloak I wouldn't go in garb. But thankfully, my outfit is simple yet powerful. I'm getting really ramped up for my first Celtic games and garb outing from all this feedback!
