Started to get COLD too. I didn't mind getting soaked but still took shelter in couple shops just to warm up!

Maybe the ground out front was hard enough but in the back areas, not so much. As evidenced by several stuck cars in the area behind my booth.

Valt- Glad you got one group one of me with my pigtails before they were soaked! I'll have them in for the rest of the season. I pouted for a few minutes after they deflated because I was like ... meh they were so cute and now I look like a rat... lol. Nice pictures!
I didn't see ANYONE... hardly anyone. You will have to come see me in Germany next time you come by. I guess running all the contests had me super focused I didn't see anyone.

Stick was raised on the streets, fighting for every scrap until she was "rescued" by CHAOS. CHAOS then "raised" her through the fires (as in, they tried to cook her but she was to tough) to become the armored Fairy of Chaos that is... Stick!
That would be my Lovely Lady Trinn's new armored fairy. The fighting mean version of Twig.
This was the best pic I could manage with my phone on a rainy day. With any luck she will be back for a day of play on AHE!

Stick should be out for AHE and Highland weekends provided the temps don't get to high then.
My Lovely Lady has a past when it comes to overheating at faire so if it's to warm the armor can't happen.
Speaking of pictures, all ya'll photographer types... please try and get some shots of her. I am not the best with my camera (That would be Trinn's job) and I want to have at least a few good pictures of her to show off.

Maeven, perhaps you're trying to put the wrong url in there. On the site you want to link to, right click the picture, and select "copy image url". that'll be what you past between the (http://) brackets. It should work, unless the site doesn't allow direct linking.

Lol. That was us, and I assure you, we were just joking :) We love the goat, and he most definatly gets more attention than we do (even in our matching fairy outfits)! He kept trying to eat his wings, and then he nibbled on my skirt. Apparetly, he didn't believe me that "Fairies are Friends, not Food!"

A combination of a full time job, school, normal chores, and not enough vacation time has meant that there is not nearly enough time for the fun things in life, or for processing pictures. I am working on the pictures from opening weekend and they should be up before the end of the 3rd weekend. I am trying to make it back to TRF for another weekend or two, but there are no guarantees.

No problem! Sorry its a little dark; I leave it on auto all day to stop it from stealing my soul. I always end up a complete slave to my camera when I bring it places.
We actually had to drag M away from your shop on friday, she even recognized the goat in your forum photo. "Hey! Thats the goat I was petting at the faire!":)

Xed - auto works most of the time, but I think the bright portion in the middle of the frame fooled your camera's meter into thinking there was enough light up front. A little fill flash would probably take care of it without blowing out the background.

The cam's got a small fill flash that would've been great for that situation (not even close to strong enough to light those people in the background), but it didn't occur to me to pop it out. I was sharing it with my party, and neither of them know how to use a 'fancy camera,' so I set it on auto all day and hoped for the best.
Plus, liquor had drunkened me.
However, when I got home (and saw how many dark, out of focus photos we had collectively shot), I decided that one of the three days closing weekend will be reserved solely for photography.
It's a testament to my photo-phobia that the best picture of me in period garb is from an entirely different period.
