Beautiful! It looks absolutely wonderful.
Very, very, very nice! Love the details.
That is one of the nicest leather doublets that I have seen. Did you make it?
The rapier hanger is very nice as well.
Thank you for the kind words. I did not make the doublet. I had it made from Deerskin and Irish Muslin by a seamstress. She did an excellent job. She is working on the "pumpkin" pants to match. The Rapier carrier is from C.R. Designs in Arizona. I am on the East Coast and it is being shipped.
My character is Merchant Class but always strives to climb that ladder even if he has to break Sumptuary Laws to do it.
Ok Gang. Here are the matching Pants or slops to go with the doublet. Made from the same deerskin leather and blue Irish linen. Stuffed with some wedding veil type material. The cod piece seems a bit clumsy but hides a functional fly. These will go over Navy Blue cotton tights from Renaissance Dancewear.
These and the doublet were made by my friend Ellen Malloy of Wild Heather Creations in Mechanicsville Virginia.

These turned out nice. I'm not why you think the codpiece looks clumsy. It actually seems modest and restrained to me.
That doublet looks great!
These are all absolutely gorgeous! I especially love the dagger. Well chosen!
Thank you everyone for the compliments.
That is some beautiful work! I have never seen leather slops before, are those heavy?
Wow! You will look fantastic and be easy to spot for me now! Pencil me in for a picture together please!~ I would be tickled!
Thank you Amy. Here are some images of me and my friend Ralph who's wife made him a King Henry VIII Garb last year. These were taken last weekend at the Richmond Celtic Fest. I wanted to test drive the garb before Carolina. The slops are not heavy at all.
