Title: Web Cams at RenFaires ?
Post by: BubbleWright on October 28, 2011, 09:34:51 PM
I posted the following on the PaRenFaire Netters Forum and it got me to wondering if any RenFaire has a web cam in operation during the run of the Faire or year round?

It occurred to me that wouldn't it be great if there were a web cam at Faire that we could visit year round, to see what's happening when the Faire is in session and the rest of the year for a Faire fix. I think a camera aimed at the Gate but far enough back to see the area in front of the Gate. I visit the boardwalk cam at Ocean City, MD every day to get my beach fix, so I would definitely virtually visit the Shire every day. What do you think?

PS- Like tomorrow we could check on the snow fall !!!! Latest prediction is 8 to 12 inches... :(

During fair I can see but once its over, the sites have a tendancy to be well boring.

Just went over to take a look...makes you appreciate how much of a faire is about the people, and not the venue.

That is so true. It is about the people and cast. That is what makes VARF so special.
