Does that include weekly air fare from Little Rock? ::)
Sadly no, but it does include all of the FAIR air that you can enjoy!
Merlin, if you and your lovely compaion join us we will find a place to put you up. Would love to have you at Sterling.
Sterling is most definitely on our bucket list! Can't this year, because we're already booked up for faire travel. Your offer is quite generous, and much appreciated. Due to the excessive snoring from both of us, we usually have to stay in seismically stable, and well-insulated areas. :P
There is a campground with a special off in the woods area for us who know how to snore !
Snoring is an artform and the wife says I am a great artist. (I think that is what she says. The word does start with an A)
Snoring...yikes !!! remind me not to stay in the same campground as you guys ! LOL !
I agree..we would love to have you come visit Sterling, Merlin.
It would definitely be fun! I know what Google says about drive time, but anyone know the real drive time from Brooklyn? We would have to stop there and pick up my son (if I can talk him into going...shouldn't be a problem). I'm assuming that Oswego is where we would bed down?
i would say roughly 5 hrs. yes, you need to make Oswego your end point.
would be lovely to meet you all!! :)
Wow! All the kind words and invites, how could we refuse? I'll tell Nim we're heading for Oswego in 2013! BTW, we are planning on RenDezvous in October, if any of you are going down to Carolina...
Curious about one thing... am I going to be able to understand you? I'm sure y'all have an accent! ;)
heck! after spending time in a pub, we will all have the same 'accent'! :D
Wish we could make RenDezvous in October, but we have a Ridge walk we work. The wife and I are the last medical team deep witin the forest. By the way, we dress up in our ren gear for it. Which garb do I wear? My Forester garp of course. The walkers love it. the runners, well they don't care as at that point they have been running up and down hills for 12.5 miles

Accent..what accent mate ! LOL !
I'm sure that if you speak slowly, I won't have any problem. Living in the South for so long, I don't hear as fast as I used to... ::)
We have more of a Canadian accent than a NYC accent thank god. I have been
in NYC and on a few occasions asked if i was Canadian.
