Post by: rengypsy on March 12, 2012, 08:32:49 AM
well, its been a rough year for sherwood. 3 out of 5 weekends have experienced bad weather.  we need yall to blow the top out this weekend.  the festivities start on friday (well, actually camping opens at noon on thursday) and will end sometime sunday with a great fire spinning show outside the front gates.  pack your bags. bring friends and families.

circa paleo will return the last three weekends--this weekend!!!

7th weekend saturday evening will the spring equinox celebration at the seven sisters.

remember the joust tournament is to be held the final weekend.

Just want to seek some clarification for camping this weekend if anybody knows.  The website says the campground won't be open until 4pm on Thursday, but Sherwood's twitter page posted that the grounds would be open at noon.  Anybody got the inside scoop?

The weather spells worked splendidly Merlin. Just a tiny shower Sunday and it helped cool it down.

Had a most excellent time this past weekend.  I think I saw a few forum folks but I cant be sure.

If anyone saw the pair of Vikings lugging around full battle rattle, that was us. Being as there are not many of us in the first place, we probably aren't had to miss.

Great weather on Saturday.

But I do have a question:  Did I just miss Cira Paleo, or were they just not there?

They had a show at the Mucky Duck Saturday, so they were only there Friday and Sunday.

I was out Sunday with my Dad, and we had a great time. We were both still kind of recovering from the St.Pat's parade and partying the day before, so we just took it easy and chated with folks, did some people watching, and took in some shows. It was so nice to see and hear Circa Paleo again!  The downside of how easy we were taking it was I only took like 5 or 6 photos instead of the usual travelogue I snap.
