Title: Grrr...stupid school and priorities and grown-up responsibilities!
Post by: Wickedvox on October 09, 2012, 08:30:41 PM
I miss you guys. I've been in the Victorian era when I've had time to sew, and I miss my RF boards :'( I'm putting some finishing touches on my outfit and then I've been *sworn* to 'dane sewing (mostly by myself because I have a *stack* of "someday" projects that need finishing). I only have 6 days off between sessions this time and I thought 'dane projects would be good fodder for getting to know my serger. But Im chomping at the bit to start my Spada pieces  :( Gaaahhh.

I just miss you guys.

You could always cheat and do a tiny Ren project. Or a crossover project.....handkerchiefs anyone?

Aww, thanks Gem! I will post pics in this thread--since it's not Ren related--after the first Hallow'een party (It's a bear to get into for just pictures) on the 26th. Also I'm redoing the buttons and adding trim to the skirt--pleats and gathers oooooo lol.

And that's a good idea Orphena!

Or add some Steampunk details--many fairs are having Steampunk days now!

Yeah, but I like to stick to the 1870's. I'd be more h/a too, but I can't afford *really* good fabric. I had considered a steam punk hat though  ;)
