His first, Those Across the River, is a Southern Gothic horror story. Might want to keep the lights on for this one.
His second, Between Two Fires, follows a disgraced Knight and a young peasant girl through the war between Heaven & Hell during the time of the Black Death. Demons, Monsters & Saints... oh, my.
Both of these books are well worth the read.
