Title: Hoggetowne Medieval Faire
Post by: adamfifer on November 21, 2012, 12:00:03 PM
Does anyone have any firsthand info. on this faire? The website is ok and it says it is the 27th year. Looking it up it would appear to be one of Floridas larger faires but I was hoping to get some info. from someone who's been. I'd like to know if it is a one day faire like Lady of the Lakes or should I plan on spending the weekend and of course if anyone is planning on going this year? Feb. - March is SO busy with BARF and FLARE but if it's worht it I will make the time.

Thanks for your help...

According to this website, the faire is open for two weekends, and is open the Friday of the second weekend.

Hoggetown is actually a rather small fair -- basically one loop of shops and shows. Much smaller than BARF or FLARF. It's not at all a bad fair. I've been, and enjoyed it, but I'm not terribly disappointed that I'll be out of the country at that time.

Either way it's a faire. I'm going to be in attendance at Hoggetowne this year not sure which weekend. I'm definately going to have a blast.
