Hello All,

I wanted to make you all aware, especially the people on the East Coast, as you always bemoan all of the things going on out here in the West!!!

Yes, it is.  I went last year and I will be teaching again this year.  :-)  I'm bringing some of my antique gown collection so people can actually see the gowns we always drool over in pictures and understand the construction better.   

Dress U is in it's second year and it is a wonderful event that I hope many will come too.  Some of the events include a formal dinner in period court attire - you can decided what time period you wish to do.  Many will be wearing the latest styles from 1775 but 1555 is very much welcome as well.   Another fun event is the Mad Hatter Tea party which is really an excuse to wear a ridiculous hat and drink tea.   

There will be classes.  There will be a TON of costumes (most people wear two or three different ones in a day!).   It is a lot of fun and I hope a lot of you join us.

I couldn't fit it into my schedule last year, but I'm going this year! With only an hour of travel time, it's the closest costumed/costuming event that I'll get.
