As I understand it, the participants, entertainment and vendors appreciate any feedback we are willing to provide. So, for those, like myself, who typically exit the back gate and not the front gate, I would recommend, that if there is a particular member of the faire who made your day especially enjoyable, please stop by the visitors center at the front gate, and ask for a survey to fill out.
I'm sure the faire management greatly appreciates all feedback as well.
This might be a sticky-able topic - Hint hint hint
You are correct that we have exit surveys at the main gate. The results are deeply discussed at our management meetings.
I would like an exit survey for the Patron's campgrounds, but I believe I receive sufficient feedback on my camping@sherwoodforestfaire.com account.
We went this last weekend and had a wonderful time! Since it is most likely too late for us to complete a survey I have two items.
1. We had a wonderful time! ;D
2. A friend of ours (aka on r/f as Advent) played the knight in shining armor to a lady who was in a motorized chair on Saturday. She was getting stuck in the sand and mulch, so he pushed her all the way up to the top of the hill. Is there something in the works to help improve mobility in that respect?
Once again we were at Sherwood but did not get a chance to complete an exit survey. The escargot is my all new favorite and my son loved the octopus! Whole family is in love with the lamb & beef kabobs. I love that there is such a wide variety of different foods. Another thing that makes Sherwood unique.
Where was there escargot?!? I missed that! I saw the octopus, but that's just gross... ::)
Hawdy Lo & Hobbles' Hearth over near the 3 Stags. Has the octopus, bubble and squeak, and a killer Welsh Rarebit.
Mess! We forgot to fill one out as well! So I will say just a few points here and make sure to fill out a few cards closing weekend. Or this upcoming weekend, I really wanna see the Spring Equinox celebration.
Guess what!? We actually found a gandora at faire! The first time this has happened -ever-! It was at Tinkers, and we traded a kilt that was a slight too big on Alex for it. Also, Silks of the East ( Two or so shops down from the Three Stags Pub on the right ) had saree wraps, and one matched the details on the gandora. So now I have a gandora and a wrap/haik/melia/saree! It really, REALLY made our weekend being able to find authentic, true garb that fit what we needed, because as you can imagine it's -really- hard to find garb that isn't either bellydancer stuff or not from the region we are looking for. So another point to the awesome shops at Sherwood!
Scarletnyx - so glad you found what you were looking for.
I also really like the pawn shoppe. I always take a look-see; never know what you'll find there.

This is the main reason StudMuffin and I haven't made it to Sherwood yet. I fear getting stuck. Someday perhaps....
I know Teach and others of the clan, as well as everyone on this site, would be happy to give me a push, even without a rum bribe but I hate to be a bother. Besides, I get pushed around enough at work.
